Bec is a compassionate senior physiotherapist with over 10 years of industry experience. Bec has special interest’s in women’s health, pelvic care and sports acquired injuries.
Bec’s passion for pelvic health developed while working in Alice Springs with clients and friends approaching her for advice on persistent pelvic pain, pre and post-natal support, and continence issues. Bec noticed her knowledge needed further advancements to better support her community. Since then, Bec has completed extensive postgraduate training, qualifying her to treat bowel and bladder incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pessary fitting, genito-pelvic pain/penetration disorder (including vulvodynia and vaginismus), endometriosis, pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain, postnatal diastasis rectus abdominis, and musculoskeletal changes associated with menopause.
Bec treats all musculoskeletal conditions, including neck pain, rib and back dysfunction, and all upper and lower limb conditions impacting mobility and functional skills. Her treatments include hands-on therapy, dry needling, as well as tailored exercise programs to help her client’s get back to their pre-injury level of fitness.
Bec enjoys empowering her client’s through all stages of life, with a holistic and evidence-based treatment approach to create individualised treatments. Bec is commitment to helping her clients feel supported, informed, and confident in their bodies.
