Dr Grant Shevlin is a Chiropractor with more than 30 years of experience supporting patients in creating and maintaining better spinal health and wellbeing. After studying Chiropractic at RMIT -Melbourne, Dr Grant completed a Masters in Pain Medicine at Newcastle University, in order to better support his patients with Headache and Migraine, that being his primary interest at the time. His current interest and area of study is in Concussion Diagnosis and Management, particularly in youth sports.
Dr Grant Chiropractic principles and techniques to help his patients their posture and movement, while reducing pain. He also provides the guidance, education, and encouragement to make healthy lifestyle changes, in particular, promoting exercise participation, which we know plays a large role in reducing future risk of injury, along with other general health benefits. Spinal pain is often the reason people don’t participate in regular exercise, which is why addressing a patient’s pain is often a first necessary first step in making exercise more enjoyable and sustainable.
Away from the clinic, Grant enjoys cycling and often competes in Mountain Bike race events, as well as taking cycling holidays both locally and internationally. This year, he will be travelling to Whistler in Cana
