Valeria Zoteyeva is a clinical and health psychologist, board-approved psychology supervisor, and ISTDP-certified therapist with a focus on the emotional, somatic, and relational dimensions of complex presentations. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, psychosomatic symptoms, and other trauma-related conditions —often in cases where previous interventions have not brought relief.
Drawing on evidence-based approaches and advanced training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Valeria integrates psychodynamic, neurobiological, and attachment-informed frameworks to help clients uncover and process unconscious emotional patterns that contribute to physical and psychological distress. Her approach is active, meticulous, and deeply personal—grounded in open and honest collaboration with her clients.
Because of this approach, many clients report long-term improvements that continue to evolve and create meaningful, positive impact in their lives over time. The central aim of Valeria’s work is to help people achieve internal freedom from unnecessary fear and suffering, and to build the mental and emotional resilience needed to live life with clarity, purpose, and full potential.
In addition to her clinical work, Valeria is actively engaged in research and interdisciplinary education. Her current PhD explores how GPs can be better equipped to recognize and respond to emotionally complex and somatic presentations—strengthening the bridge between psychological insight and medical care, and supporting better outcomes for both patients and clinicians.
Valeria’s practice is guided by core principles: to do no harm, to listen with care and respond to immediate fears with compassion; to promote awareness in an honest and supportive way; and to provide a safe, dynamic space that fosters growth, respect, and genuine human connection. Integrity and a commitment to excellence are at the heart of her work—with every effort directed toward helping clients not just heal, but thrive.
